The RC-28 USB encoder solves this problem by bringing the ergonomics of a real HF transceiver’s front panel directly to your desktop.
This encoder features a large, high-quality, weighted, and perfectly calibrated rotary tuning knob, offering the same smooth search as Icom’s VFO dials. In addition to this main knob, the unit has a top push button and two physical keys that can be configured separately via the RS-BA1 software interface.
